Final Exam Schedule
Welcome to Our School

Imagine the possibilities at New Philadelphia High School, an organization that blends the traditions of the past with a commitment to excellence for the future. New Philadelphia High School earned the “Excellent” rating from the Ohio Department of Education for the 9th time in the past 11 years, having surpassed all but one state standard over those eleven years. NPHS is an institution that currently offers 11 Advanced Placement courses; and, plans to expand upon these exciting course offerings for our students in the future. In addition, NPHS offers students an opportunity to become part of a four tiered pre-engineering program called, “Project Lead The Way,” which blends the skill sets learned in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The NPHS PLTW program was recently “nationally certified,” thus, NPHS students can earn college credit in this program. Students at NPHS can explore the visual and performing arts both during and outside the typical school day by engaging in band, choir, art, fall play and spring musical.

Students at New Philadelphia High School may enhance their involvement in the school by joining one or more of the many clubs, participating in school activities, or engaging in one or more of the many athletic teams available to them. This past school year, the French Club took a trip to France; the Delphian Chorale visited New York City; the NPHS Band is planning a trip to Hawaii for the current school year; and, the Science Club recently took a trip to Costa Rica. The NPHS Academic Challenge Team won the ECOL competition this past school year repeating as champion. NPHS students had fun attending games and dances, but the end-of-year “Talent Show” remains a favorite for students and staff alike. NPHS is a great place for students to showcase their talents in a variety of areas including academics, athletics, and the arts. At NPHS, it is not unusual to see a student featured in the play or choir one night; and then, the next day, see that same student competing on an athletic team, or competing in “Academic Challenge.”

The faculty and staff at New Philadelphia High School congratulate the Class of 2011 for being awarded over $757,000.00 in scholarships and we look forward to preparing our current students for their dreams and goals.
