Masks
Masks are required by all students, staff, and visitors who are inside any New Philadelphia School building.  This also applies to all indoor athletic and extracurricular events and includes spectators, coaches, and athletes who are waiting to compete  




 
Elementary Transfer Bus Information
If your child will be riding a shuttle bus only (lives within 1 mile of home school, but attends a school more than 1 mile from home) your child will need to be at their home school by 8:30 am and will be returned to their home school by 3:45 pm for pickup.  Once at the home school, a staff member will ensure students are on the correct bus. 
KG - 1st  - York Elementary  (York, South & West Home School)
KG - 1st - East Elementary (Central & East Home School)
2nd - 3rd Grade - South Elementary
4th Grade - West Elementary
5th Grade - Central Elementary 
Grade/Building Specific Transfer Busing information will be available during Elementary Open Houses. 
 
Vaping Information from the ODH and the New Philadelphia CSD
State and local public health officials in Ohio and nationally are investigating reports of serious lung illnesses in individuals after vaping, many of them young people. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that these lung illnesses are all linked to vaping and likely associated with chemical exposure, but it is too early to pinpoint a single product or substance common to all cases.

The majority of these cases are youth and young adults. Almost all states have reported vaping-related lung injury cases, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting more than 2,000 cases nationally as well as a number of deaths.  

Vaping is a public health crisis among our youth.
