Parent/Guardian Arrival and Departure Procedures
Please adhere to the following guidelines for student arrivals and departures:
*Walkers: Students who walk to school are permitted to report at 8:30 a.m. Students should enter Door 2 and report to the gymnasium. At the conclusion of the day, students will exit the building through Door 2.
*Carpool: Parents/guardians may drop off their child(ren) using the carpool zones located along First Drive N.W. Parents should travel from the north to the south entering the carpool lane using North Avenue N.W. No vehicle should enter the carpool lane using Ray Avenue N.W. At the conclusion of the school day, parents are to follow the same procedures as in the morning. Children will be dismissed to parents one vehicle at a time. Please do not get out of your vehicle if you are using the carpool line. Students using the carpool line will enter the school using Door 4 and will exit the building at the end of the day through Door 4 as well.
*Bus Students: The bus lanes are located along Ray Avenue N.W. Vehicles are not permitted to park along Ray Avenue N.W. between First Drive N.W. and Second Street N.W. Bus students will arrive and depart based on the district transportation schedule. All bus students will be supervised by teachers. Children returning to Central Elementary at the end of the day are required to report to the gymnasium and will be dismissed from there.
**Please do not use Second Street N.W. for student arrivals or departures. Students will not be dismissed from doors accessible to Second Street N.W.

Siga las siguientes pautas para las llegadas y salidas de los estudiantes:

Al finalizar el día escolar, los padres deben seguir los mismos procedimientos que en la mañana. Los niños serán despedidos a los padres un vehículo a la vez.Por favor, no salga de su vehículo si está utilizando la línea de carpool. Los estudiantes que utilicen la línea de vehículos compartidos entrarán a la escuela por la Puerta 4 y también saldrán del edificio al final del día por la Puerta 4.
*Estudiantes en autobús: Los carriles para autobuses están ubicados a lo largo de Ray Avenue N.W. No se permite que los vehículos se estacionen a lo largo de Ray Avenue N.W. entre First Drive N.W. y Second Street N.W. Los estudiantes en autobús llegarán y partirán según el horario de transporte del distrito. Todos los estudiantes de autobús serán supervisados por maestros. Los niños que regresan a Central Elementary al final del día deben reportarse al gimnasio y serán despedidos desde allí.
**No use Second Street N.W. para llegadas o salidas de estudiantes. Los estudiantes no saldrán de las puertas accesibles a Second Street N.W.
