COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL
New Philadelphia is a small city of about 19,000 located in the gently rolling hills of Eastern Ohio. Its residents are employed in the areas of business, mining, light industry and agriculture.
The high school (9-12) offers a broad and diverse curriculum with approximately 92 courses developed to meet the various needs of the students. Opportunities include fourth year language classes, fine arts, and advanced classes in the academic areas. Also available are concurrent enrollment programs at Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus and other colleges.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT
New Philadelphia High School offers Advanced Placement Tests in the Spring of each year. Our graduates have earned numerous college credits through participation in this program.
