Congratulations to Our 2015-16 Staff Honorees!
The New Philadelphia Board of Education is proud to announce that Seth Watson (Welty Middle School Mathematics Teacher) has been named the 2016 Educator of the Year and that Lisa Speicher (Elementary School Nurse) has been awarded the 2016 Support Staff Employee of the Year!
Both staff members will be honored at the Staff Recognition Banquet to be held on May 4th. Thirty staff members were nominated by their peers for the awards. The winners will receive a personalized clock and have their names added to a perpetual plaque. We salute Seth and Lisa as inspirational role models for the district.
