East Elementary 5th Grade Clap Out
East Elementary 5th Grade Clap Out

Thursday May 28
6:00-7:00 PM

Every year we celebrate our 5th graders by having a clap out on the last day of school. Unfortunately, this year we will not have the opportunity to do that, so we are going to honor our 5th graders another way. Every 5th grade student and their families are invited to participate in a drive thru clap out on Thursday May 28 from 6-7 PM. Students and families will be able to decorate their cars and drive through the bus lane at East Elementary as the staff gives them a clap out.

Due to our current situation please follow the following directions:

We are asking that families turn onto Fair Ave. by the Otterbein church and Beaver Ave, drive down Fair Ave., and turn into our bus lane by the modular. After going through the clap out, families should turn right onto Fair Ave from our bus lane, to minimize traffic issues.

Only 1 car per student. Please feel free to decorate your car.

Each car will drive through the bus lane and briefly stop to receive a small gift from the 5th grade teachers towards the end of the bus lane.

Students and family members should stay in their cars throughout the entire event.

The staff at East Elementary is looking forward to honoring our 5th graders and sending them on to the middle school following this special event. We will miss all of our 5th graders!
