As we prepare for school in the fall of 2020-21, we have created a plan that is flexible to keep students and staff safe. This plan represents months of work by a variety of teams in collaboration with the City of New Philadelphia’s Health Department.
The Responsible Restart is intended to provide an overview of three educational delivery scenarios and one fully digital option that we are prepared for as a District:
Plan A - 100% In-Person Education
Plan B - Modified In-Person Education (A combination of in-person & remote education)
Plan C - 100% Remote Education
or
Families will have the choice of enrolling their students in the NP Virtual Academy or keeping their students in which plan the NPCSD is operating under (Plan A, B, or C). Parents will not get a choice between all in (Plan A), hybrid (Plan B), or 100% Remote (Plan C). The decision between Plans A, B, & C will be determined by the chart shared below.
