New Philadelphia High School proudly presents its fall play, Curtain Going Up! by Gregory Johnston. This comedic show tells the story of a high school putting on their school play under the direction of new director, Miss Burgess. Among the comic obstacles facing Miss Burgess in producing her first play at the high school are a grouchy janitor, disappearing scripts, crossed up romances, a stage struck heroine and her bewildered boyfriend, an actor with a swollen head, a disgruntled athlete who feels out of place on stage, a flamboyant professional actress with advice, a PTA President’s daughter driven to theft and, perhaps most unexpected of all, a romance for Miss Burgess herself!

The cast includes Andi Aldea, Alanis Amick, Hunter Beach, Kari Cargnel, Christina Everett, Brady Freitag, Anna Grages, Avery Guttu, Seth Harriman, Abbi Kneuss, Macy Lautenschleger, Chloe Parrino, Maggie Prucha, Chad Roberts, Olivia Stier, Maddie Troyer, Mayson Vazquez, and Amanda Vernize.
