MEASURING WHAT MATTERS TO YOU!
The New Philadelphia City School District is releasing a “Quality Profile,” a comprehensive, community-oriented companion to the state’s Local Report Card. The "Quality Profile" is intended to showcase additional measures that families and community members of New Philadelphia value in their school system, but are not part of the Ohio Department of Education's report cards. The Quality Profile is not intended to compete with the state report cards.

The Quality Profile helps to evaluate the effectiveness of a school district beyond standardized testing measures. The content of The New Philadelphia Quality Profile is based on our commitment to improve the personalized learning experience of each child.

“Public schools should be a reflection of the values and expectations of the local community,” said Superintendent David Brand. “The profile allows us to annually engage the community in a conversation about how we define quality at New Philadelphia. This profile should include the information our community wants to know about their schools.”

He said the district will obtain feedback on the first Quality Profile, refine the details, and expect to issue another such report next year.
