New Philadelphia City School District to host annual Senior Citizens for dinner and a musical on 2/22/18.New Philadelphia City Schools will be hosting a night of dinner and theatre on Thursday, Feb 22, 2018 for residents of the New Philadelphia City School District – 65 years of age or older. Dinner will begin at 5:00 PM with the show following at 6:00 PM
The Welty Middle School Musical presentation will be “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” directed by Christa Roberts. The classic story tells of Belle (Lainey Sefert), a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast (Tyler Maddux), who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. However, time is running out and if the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
