The New Philadelphia City Schools are celebrating the opening of the newly renovated Quaker Dome with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 19th at 5:30pm. Students, families, and community members are invited to attend the event which will include remarks and a tour of the renovated facility.
The Quaker Dome was donated to the school district through the generosity of the community and alumni. The Quaker Dome will house the Preschool, the Special Services Department, and athletic events.
“The Quaker Dome will be a special fixture of our school district for generations to come,” said Superintendent David Brand, “our staff will be able to better serve our children through this facility.”
