Courses that I teach:

• Biology CP--This is a general biology course for those planning on going on to college and is typically taken during the 9th or 10th grade year.  Core concepts covered include:  The Process of Science, Ecology, Cell Structure and Function, Energetic Transformations in Cells, Heredity, and Evolution.

• Biology II--This course takes a watershed approach to understanding the past and present ecology of our region.  Core concepts covered include: Aquatic Ecology, Forest Ecology, Physical and Historical Geology, and Wildlife Ecology.

• AP Chemistry--This course is the equivalent of two semesters of college-level chemistry for science majors.  Core concepts covered include:  Reactions and Stoichometry, Aqueous Solutions and Solution Chemistry, Gases, Thermodynamics and Chemical Reactions, Kinetics, and Equilibrium.
