Quaker Foundation Scholarship - Deadline 3 p.m. February 17, 2012
The Quaker Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1993 for the purpose of accepting and expending funds to enhance the educational opportunities for New Philadelphia City Schools students.

This year The Quaker Foundation is planning to award a number of Quaker Foundation Scholarships to members of the NPHS Class of 2012.  In addition, The Quaker Foundation will work with the New Philadelphia Board of Education to award five Michael Briggs Memorial Scholarships including two $10,000 scholarships and additional scholarships amounting to $5,000.

Some of the scholarships are based on academic criteria that may take into account both grade point and SAT or ACT test results.  Several of the scholarships place emphasis on factors other than grade point including leadership, athletics, interest in the fields of edition and the fine or performing arts, and interest in attending a technical or vocational school.  Other scholarships are specifically limited to technical or vocational schools beyond high school.  All scholarships require the student to attend on a full-time basis.
