Six very talented writers from Central Elementary School recently attended the Young Authors' Conference sponsored by the East Central Ohio Educational Services Center.  In preparation for this event, the students created and illustrated their own original work.  Additionally, the students were able to share their stories with students from other school districts.  Greg Scott was the featured artist for the day, while Laurie Lazzaro Knowlton was our special author.  Laurie is the author of such popular books as Why Cowboys Sleep With Their Boots On and Why Cowgirls Are Such Sweet Talkers.  As always, we are elated at the work of our students and the opportunity for enriched learning activities.  Quakers for Excellence!
