NPHS Steel Drum Band presents its annual Panstock concert on Saturday, April 27th, 2024.  The concert will start at 6:30 pm and will feature Jonathan Moffett, drummer for Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Elton John along with Tracy Thornton of Pan Rocks.

The Community Facility Master Planning meeting previously scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 is canceled!  

The Committee will plan to meet next on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 6:30 pm.  At that meeting, we plan to share additional details about cost implications for the Facility Master Plan.

The New Philadelphia Board of Education is proud to announce the recipients of the "Charlyn Menapace Employees of the Year" Awards for the 2023-2024 school year.

Educator of the Year: Mrs. Talin Petrullo, English Learner Teacher, New Philadelphia High School.
Support Staff Employee of the Year: Mrs. Donna Wayt, Paraprofessional, East Elementary

Both staff members were nominated by their peers. Talin and Donna will be honored at the 28th Annual Staff Recognition Banquet, along with their names placed on a perpetual plaque at the administration offices.

Congratulations to these well-deserving and dedicated employees!

New this year we are awarding a "New Philadelphia City School's Rookie Of The Year"

Each new school year we are blessed with many fine new staff members, but some members stand out because they routinely go above and beyond expectations.  These efforts help create #QuakerSpririt and make attending New Philadelphia City Schools a wonderful experience for our students.  

We are proud to announce our first annual Rookie of the Year: Mr. Greg Perkins, Custodian at York Elementary. Greg will be honored at the 28th Annual Staff Recognition Banquet, along with his name placed on a perpetual plaque at the administration offices.  Congratulations and Thank you, Mr. Perkins!
